The hospital for your operation is confirmed in your written treatment plan, together with your surgeon, your device and your dates, so you know exactly where you will be treated before you book flights.
Which hospital is chosen depends on the procedure, the surgeon and theatre availability. Whichever hospital is named in your plan, the same surgical team, the same safety processes and the same English-speaking coordinator stay with you from arrival to discharge.

Our processes travel with the surgical team, whichever hospital your operation takes place in.
Anaesthesia and nursing
The operation is carried out under general or spinal anaesthesia. You then rest on the ward, where nurses look after you and the surgeon visits you to examine you and explain how the operation went.
Device traceability
The make, model and serial number of your implant are recorded in your medical file, and you receive the details to keep. This matters if you ever need care from another doctor.

For a penile implant, most patients stay in hospital for up to two nights. A urinary catheter is normally removed the next morning and a small drain within two or three days. Once the drain is out and you are walking comfortably, you move back to your hotel to rest before a final check at the clinic.

Our clinic office is in the Akasya Kent complex in Acıbadem, on the Asian side of Istanbul. This is where the surgeon examines you before surgery, answers your questions and confirms the choice of implant, and where you have your final check before you fly home. Consultations and follow-up appointments are arranged in advance with our coordinators, and transfers between your hotel, the clinic and the hospital are arranged for you.
