Biography
Two decades of academic urology
Prof. Dr. Bülent Alıcı is a urologist and andrologist. He studied at Istanbul's Robert College and then at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, completing his medical degree in 1983.
He trained as a urologist in the Department of Urology at Istanbul University's Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine between 1986 and 1990. In 1990 he worked in andrology and microsurgery in Houston, Texas, at Baylor College of Medicine and at affiliated teaching and cancer hospitals in Houston.
From 1992 to 2014 he continued his work in andrology and reconstructive surgery in the Department of Urology at Cerrahpaşa. He became an associate professor in 1999 and a professor in 2005.
